It is the second month of the year and the only month with less than 30/31 days.\nComing just after January\, the month of New Beginnings\, the name February\, is taken from the Latin word Februarius\, meaning “to purify“.\nFebruary was known as the “Month of Purification” during ancient Roman times. \nThis month is a transitional time\, presenting itself just after a month of reflection and new year’s resolutions. \nThe WORD for the month of February is from James 1:5 which says\,\n‘If any of you lack wisdom\, let him ask of GOD\, THAT giveth to all men liberally\, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.’ \nThis WORD admonishes is to seek wisdom from GOD. \nWe must let GOD’S wisdom rule this month and beyond; in our lives\, marriages\, families homes\, places of work\, our nations and in all that concerns us. \nLet the wisdom of GOD rule through you giving no place to ungodly wisdom. \nIn February\, you must walk in excellent wisdom\, the same way you are enjoined to walk in love. \nJames 3:17 \n17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving\, considerate\, submissive\, full of mercy and good fruit\, impartial and sincere. \nWhen GOD’S wisdom rules\, the experience of absolute prosperity and good health are inevitable. \nProverbs 3:7-8 \nDon’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead\, fear the LORD and turn away from evil.
