For HIS mercy endures forever. \nMatthew 6:31-32 \nTherefore do not worry\, saying\, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. 4 Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the LORD ALMIGHTY. 5 You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter. 6 You have condemned and murdered the innocent one\, who was not opposing you. \nPrayer Points\nALMIGHTY FATHER\, in this world filled with goodness\, evil\, pleasure\, leisure\, lust and temptations\, my desire is to have the fruit of YOUR SPIRIT evident in my daily life. Grant me FATHER I pray\, a spirit of self control. I thank YOU for being able to see\, to hear and the ability to walk and talk. I thank YOU for my family and friends\, in JESUS Name. \nForgive me\, FATHER\, this day for everything I have done\, said or thought that was not pleasing to YOU. YOU have done so much for me and the best of YOUR gifts is my LORD and YOUR SON JESUS. \nLORD\, keep me from pride\, arrogance and self-importance. Help us to know that a giving heart glorifies YOU. Make that realization part of who we are. Make it an instinct and a reflexive action.\nGOD\, increase our storehouses so that we can continue to give increasing amounts to the Church\, to the poor\, and to unbelievers who are in need.\nLORD\, money is not evil\, we know that we can use money to do great things in YOUR kingdom. \nWe give YOU our money\, GOD. It’s YOURS anyway.\nYOU’VE just given it to us to watch over and use for YOUR glory. Help us to do that. HOLY SPIRIT\, remove any rotten\, selfish parts of our hearts that would want to hold on to our money and to use it for selfish purposes.\nFATHER\, I pray against condemnation too. \nYOU haven’t called us all into poverty\, and it’s not wrong to have nice things\, but help us to recognize these things for what they are: temporary.\nLORD\, the cry of our hearts is to be more like YOU.\nLet that motivation be what governs our choices when it comes to finances. \nThank YOU\, FATHER. We love YOU! \nLOVONG FATHER\, I come to YOU today with grateful thanks for the gifts and promises that so readily stream in my direction from YOU. So often LORD\, my foolish heart is filled with worry and anxiety and I find myself looking at the problem of my supply instead of looking to YOU as my generous SUPPLIER. Please forgive this lack of trust in YOU\, for I know that YOU have promised to supply all our needs according to YOUR riches in glory\, for which I thank and praise YOU. \nLORD\, I want to be able to hand over each and every one of my worries to YOU\, and to develop a generous and outgiving personality that keeps my eyes on JESUS\, rather than continuing to be the “worrier” that I have become. The money for which we work is becoming sawdust in our pockets and the prices of the simple basics of life are escalating out of control\, and LORD we have no one but YOU upon WHOM to rely and we are trusting YOU for our provision today. \nLORD\, we believe YOUR WORD is true and that YOU have promised to supply all our needs according to YOUR riches in glory. Thank YOU for the amazing example of the Israelites in the wilderness\, who received sufficient manna for the day as a promise from YOU\, and LORD we believe and know that YOUR promises are no less true today than they were in those distant days gone by. \nHelp us to walk by faith and not to be swayed by the mountainous problems that surround us on every side. Help us to live by faith and not by sight\, and trust YOU to provide sufficient provision for our daily need. Help us to read YOUR WORD and reckon it to be true and not to doubt YOUR promises. Help us to trust YOU entirely in these increasingly precarious times and look to YOU with childlike trust\, knowing that YOU are the ONE we depend upon for life.\nWe ask this in JESUS Name\, \nThank YOU LORD for answering our prayers.

Taking one of the stones there\, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep. 12 He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth\, with its top reaching to heaven\, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. 13 There above it stood the LORD\, and HE said: “I AM the LORD\, the GOD of your father Abraham and the GOD of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. 14 Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth\, and you will spread out to the west and to the east\, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring. 15 I AM with you and will watch over you wherever you go\, and I will bring you back to this land. We are not sowing on the rocky soil either\, for what was sown on thin (rocky) soil\, this is the person who hears the WORD and at once welcomes and accepts it with joy! Yet it has no real root in them\, but is temporary…. lasts but a little while; and when affliction or trouble or persecution comes on account of the WORD\, at once they are caused to stumble! They are repelled and begin to distrust and desert HIM WHOM they ought to trust and obey and they fall away!\nFATHER\, Thank YOU for we are kept by YOUR Power from falling! \nFATHER\, thank YOU for YOUR Grace which is sufficient that we do not have to sow our seeds among thorns!\nFor what was sown among thorns\, this is the person who hears the WORD\, but the cares of the world and the pleasure and delight and glamour and deceitfulness of riches choke\nand suffocate the WORD\, and it yields no fruit.\nThank YOU for YOUR WORD has taught us not to love the world and it’s worldliness!\nWe do not allow the lust of the flesh\, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life which is the deceitfulness of riches to choke the WORD in our life! We have chosen to abide in the LORD\, we have chosen to trust HIM and not to lean on our own understanding!\nWe have chosen to walk by faith and not by sight!\nFATHER\, we cannot thank YOU enough! Accept our thanks in the Name of JESUS! \nFATHER\, we want to thank YOU for the secret of sowing and reaping which YOUR WORD has revealed to us!\nThank YOU because every seed we sow\, we sow as stewards of the LORD!\nWe trust and obey YOU for how and where to sow!\nThe SPIRIT of GOD prompts us where to sow and they are usually sown on good soil! Then go to the place the LORD your GOD will choose as a dwelling for HIS Name 3 and say to the priest in office at the time\, “I declare today to the LORD your GOD that I have come to the land the LORD swore to our ancestors to give us.” \nLet us pray\nMy RIGHTEOUS GOD\, YOU created us\, male and female\, in YOUR image. Because we are made in YOUR image\, we are made to reflect YOUR giving and generous nature. Therefore\, we ask that YOU mold us to better reflect this image. Shape our hearts\, minds\, and souls that we might learn to give as freely as YOU give. For YOU are a GOD WHO holds nothing back but lays down even YOUR OWN life for us. Amen. \nJESUS\, my SAVIOUR\, YOU teach us that good fruit is produced from a good tree. Likewise\, kindness flows not from a heart that is made of stone\, but from a new heart that is given to us through YOUR SPIRIT. LORD\, teach us to be kind in heart\, so that love\, grace\, and charity flow forth like a river. Give us a generosity that reflects YOUR OWN\, through CHRIST\, our LORD. Amen. \nFATHER of COMPASSION\, generosity derives from compassion – a compassion that YOU have for the world. For how can we be generous if we have no compassion for those who are less fortunate than we? LORD\, make our hearts compassionate towards others. Let us look upon the world and take pity on those who are in peril. Help us rise to the challenge that YOU set before all of us\, that we might share YOUR wondrous gifts of faith\, hope\, and eternal life with the world. LORD\, have mercy and hear us. Amen. \nGOD\, our GREAT PROVIDER\, YOU encouraged the rich young ruler to sell his possessions and give unto the poor if he were to come and follow YOU.
