In January we were told to move out of the accommodation we had stayed in for over 4 years due to a transfer.

At the same time I got a transfer at work to Ikoyi. Started house hunting and all the places I was seeing was above my budget. I remember praying on a Sunday morning and telling God I will like to meet the landlord of the house and he should just agree to a particular figure for the rent.

Sunday evening I got a message from an agent who said he had a place for the same price as a smaller apartment I had been searching for.

Monday morning, before work I drove to the house with my second mum for an inspection. The landlord opened the gate for us. He spoke with my mum and we ended up paying the same cost for 1bdrm self con for a 2bdrm apartment.
The funds for the apartment came from my parents.

I had planned moving in with just my bed and personal belongings because the cost of setting up was higher than what I could afford and so I just told myself no visitors till next year. I’m not buying chairs or anything. I’ll just move in with my bed.

I prayed and reminded God that I needed help with the apartment setting. There is nothing in the place. I was going to use new ankara fabrics as curtains and drapes.

Saturday last week, my
Mum called me again and said let’s go window shopping, I jumped into the car, we got to an electronics store and she started asking are we picking a TV I said no ma, I don’t think I need one now I can’t afford much. She asked another one and I said same thing so she stopped asking and said let’s just get the prices and work towards it. I said ok ma
We checked some more items and she paid for a gas cooker and a fridge for me. πŸ˜πŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ’ƒπŸΎ

I had gotten into the car before it dawned on me that my prayers were being answered one by one. God was fixing up his daughter’s place.

She also called some vendors and for them to reduce drastically their bills for some other house fittings. I can only thank God for favour with men.
