Earlier this year, I began preparations for my upcoming promotion examination at work. Within 2 weeks of the examination, the scheduled date was announced.
It was a very challenging time.
I had a serious melt down as the time drew closer, but God sent people to encourage me and assure me that all would be well.
On Saturday, 27 February 2021, I wrote my exam.
The highlight of the day was after the exam, I informed SL that I had just completed my exam. She then drew my attention to the prayers being made in the group earlier that day. The most applicable to me at that instance was at 10:45 a.m. which stated “Receive your promotion in JESUS Name!!”.
I received my promotion by faith that day. I never forgot this prayer point and avoided any negative thought regarding the outcome.
Yesterday evening, I received my promotion at work. I couldn’t help but praise God and give thanks for the declaration made through SL on that day.
Indeed, our God is a great God! He speaks and His words come to pass.
