FATHER LORD, Wipe My Tears Away

Psalm 30:5b

weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

There are moments when we do cry, when our tears overwhelm us.
When all we can do is cry out to the LORD: “Dry my tears!”
The WORD tells us there is: A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance (Ecclesiastes 3:4).

Tears are a language of the soul.
They speak of pain, loss, disappointment, deep emotion and even joy.
In the Bible, we see that GOD is not only aware of our tears, but HE also takes account of them.
Psalm 56:8 reveals that GOD keeps our tears in a bottle, showing how precious they are to HIM.

There are seasons in life when human words fail and all we can offer are tears.
But our GOD is not silent in such times.
HE draws near to the broken-hearted and promises to wipe away all tears from our eyes.
HE is not a passive observer of our pain – HE is an active restorer.
HE will restore you.
