Matthew 6:1-4
Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your FATHER WHO is in heaven.
Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your FATHER WHO sees in secret will reward you.
GOD, YOU are great and YOU are kind
YOU are the great gift WHO keeps giving
YOU are the generous giver who never gives up
YOU are the gracious General who never gets weary
The kind who never relents in kindness and always cares
The precious provider who never pretends
YOU are never tired of giving and never weary in sowing
YOU never retire from pruning and never take a break from providing
YOU are never weary of weaning us and YOU never worry of winter or summer
YOU never withdraw YOUR supply from us in any season
YOU are the all-rounder and always kinder than the kindest with YOUR great gifts that reveal YOUR riches
YOU are rich in kindness
YOU are great in generosity
YOUR gifts are unquantifiable
YOUR grace is matchless
YOU give gifts no man can fathom
YOU give grace nobody can comprehend
YOU give offers nobody can match
YOU give lifetime riches and honour
They are all part of YOUR generosity
YOU are kind and YOU are generous
YOU are great and YOU are gracious
Everything I have YOU have given me
Every breath I breathe YOU have gifted me
I am alive because YOU supported me
YOUR generosity is what I live on
Friends I have YOU have given me
Food I eat YOU have provided
Faith I muster YOU have filled me with
Wisdom I share YOU shed on me
Grace abounds me because of YOU

May I not treat YOUR gift with contempt

Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the FATHER of LIGHTS, with WHOM there is no variation or shadow due to change.
Ephesians 5:1-2
Therefore be imitators of GOD, as beloved children, and live in love, as CHRIST loved us and gave HIMSELF up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to GOD.
GOD has given us two hands –
one to receive with and the other to give with. We are not cisterns made for hoarding;
We are channels made for giving.
ALMIGHTY GOD, FATHER to us all
Every good and perfect gift is from YOU,
YOU share them as a sign of YOUR love.
I share them as a sign of YOUR love at work in me.
LORD JESUS, SAVIOUR to us all,
YOUR love and grace are extravagant, Leaping every barrier; building every bridge.
Teach me to be the same.
HOLY SPIRIT, GUARDIAN to us all,
YOUR passion and persevering sustain creation fill me with YOUR joy and generosity
So all that I am, and all that I have,
Brings honour to YOUR Name. Amen.
