2 Corinthians 8:1-2
Now I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, what GOD in HIS kindness has done through the churches in Macedonia. They are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor. But they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity.
Prayer Points
* LORD, YOU are a generous GOD. YOU gave far beyond what we could ever have imagined or asked for in giving us YOUR SON. YOU gave the ultimate gift and it cost YOU dearly. And yet, far too often, we hold back. We keep a tight grip on the resources and the time YOU’VE given us. Too often, we hold back ourselves when YOU are calling us to give ourselves away. Forgive us, LORD, and teach us to loosen our grip. Teach us to give freely, remembering that all we have comes from YOU.
* FATHER in the Name of JESUS, thank YOU for making me a consistent giver, always abounding in the grace of giving. FATHER in the Name of JESUS, thank YOU for stirring my heart to always trust YOU in my giving.
* FATHER in the Name of JESUS, I know YOU are a generous GOD, YOU gave YOUR very best, by giving us JESUS CHRIST, help me to do the same, to give my very best at all times and in all situations.
* FATHER in the Name of JESUS, release the grace of giving to us afresh in the Rebirth Ministry. Help us to overflow in our liberality, not withholding mercy and kindness to everyone in our area of influence and in our community.
* FATHER in the Name of JESUS, grant me grace to give more of my resources with joy and gladness of heart, by the help of the HOLY SPIRIT, I will overflow in the grace of giving in JESUS Name.
* My FATHER, I have given, let it be given back to me, according to YOUR WORD, in Luke 6:38, in the Name of JESUS.
* FATHER, open the windows of heaven for me before this year ends, in the Name of JESUS.
* LORD OF HOSTS, arise and rebuke the devourer for me, in the Name of JESUS.
* FATHER, I commit the work of my hands to YOU, bless it and let YOUR Name be glorified, in the Name of JESUS.
* FATHER, I pray for (name one or more) and others in my circle of family and friends to be generous people, in the Name of JESUS.
* As we give YOU our tithes and offerings, believing YOUR promise that as we do, YOU will throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that we will not have room enough for it in the Name of JESUS.
* Help us to sow generously and reap generously – pressed down, shaken together, and running over! Help us be cheerful givers to those in Christian service, and then supply all their needs from YOUR riches in CHRIST JESUS
* O LORD, remember all my offerings in this time of trouble, in the Name of JESUS.
* Thank YOU LORD for the Rebirth Ministry.
* Thank YOU LORD for answered prayers.
