Deuteronomy 28
28 If you fully obey the LORD your GOD and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your GOD will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your GOD:
…………. LORD will send you back in ships to Egypt on a journey I said you should never make again. There you will offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.
We talk about blessings and prosperity, two words that have diverse meanings depending on who you ask.
In the Christian realm, these terms take on divine implications.
They are not just worldly achievements but gifts and favour bestowed upon us by the ALMIGHTY GOD.
As it is written in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
Prayer is the channel through which these divine favours flow into our lives.
