DAY TEN: Asylum seekers, Refugees, Immigrants.
Isaiah 16:3-5
Give us counsel, render a decision. Make your shadow like night- at high noon. Hide fugitives, do not betray refugees.
Let the Moabite fugitives stay with you; be their shelter from the destroyer.
The oppressor will come to an end, and destruction will cease; the aggressor will vanish from the land. In love a throne will be established, in faithfulness a man will sit on it- one who in judging seeks justice and speeds the cause of righteousness.
- Pray for all asylum seekers who are genuinely fleeing terrible situations in their home countries. Pray that your neighbours will have a generous heart towards those in need or to new immigrants living nearby.
- Pray for harmony between different faith groups in your neighbourhood.
- Pray that GOD will improve your own attitude towards people from different cultures.
