I thought I was due for my British citizenship in 2020, unknown to me, I was due for the citizenship in 2019.
Due to the pandemic, everything had to be done online.
And the British government decided to use previous biometric records. I literally became British in my living room without spending a dime on travel, additional biometric data collection etc.
