GOD is in control
On the 28th of June, I was asked to see the head teacher of my children’s school.
I had finished taking the prayers for the fasting period not too long before.
I called my husband and mentioned the meeting.
The head teacher told me I had to withdraw my son who uses a wheelchair from the school because they couldn’t afford a chair lift like they had promised 5yrs ago.
I kept thinking about how distraught my husband would be. We told our children and it was sad as they cried to sleep. It was at that point I understood the gravity of the news. I told family members that needed to know.
My son kept asking questions.
One day he said mama I know you can fix this (HA). I cried to GOD o for HIS mercy and will to be done.
Some people suggested that we beg the proprietress. I refused.
I believed GOD was in control.
I found the disabled community and reported the situation. I told them I didn’t want a fight but instead use my children’s school as a way to enlighten other people and schools especially that because my son is on a wheelchair he is less human.
To compound issues, my son was asked to remain at home by the school and resume later than other students
Then I was asked to sign a liability waiver.
I decided to take legal action against the school.
I did not know that GOD was ‘working in the wings’
One of the admin. staff made a video of my son at school interacting with his classmates outside of the classroom and sent it to the chairman of the school board.
The outcome?
The school called us in and the plan is that my son will attend school in September and by the January term there will be ramps to all floors.
Hallelujah!!
I knew in my spirit GOD would work out this situation for the good of my family.
HE has lifted the burden and filled us with joy. LORD I can’t thank YOU enough for your goodness, mercy and love.
