This is me coming to say thank you Lord!!!
I started following Rebirth Ministry on Instagram in June. Prior to that a friend will send me the link to join the week day Time with SL. Unfortunately every time I tried to watch, the video would have expired. At the time I joined in June, I was looking for an online bible study taught the meat of the word. Safe to say I have no regret and I now wake up every day at 5am to join the morning declaration unfailing.
Last week during the time with SL, SL was talking about how we must trust God and His faithfulness no matter the challenge. I actually sent a message during the ministration that I was going through a challenge and I was trusting God despite the situation though it was tough. Last week and this week, SL during the 5am declaration kept saying that God has come through for you, keep trusting and start praising as you have overcome. I held on to these words and I started praising.
The challenge – I deal FX transactions for clients. I had done 2 transactions of USD200,000 each through my counter party in Canada. Both transactions were going to Dubai.
First transaction was sent in June whilst the second was sent in July. The monies were sent but the beneficiaries never received funds. We tried to trace the funds but to no avail. We initially thought the beneficiaries were being funny. I was under immense pressure as clients were calling frantically. At some point, they were calling for the refunds of their monies. Were was I supposed to get naira equivalent of USD400,000? I kept praying and trusting God.
For one of the transactions, a friend who introduced to the client refunded the USD equivalent to the client and that he would give me time to refund his money to him once I had the funds. I could not believe it, see God’s grace, mercies and favour at work.
The second transaction after incessant messages to the bank in Canada, they came back last week to say that they had found the money and that required additional information. We sent all information required and we didn’t hear from the bank again. On Monday 9th of August, we followed up with the bank and they said they’ll come back to us but they never did. On Wednesday, 11th of August, I received a message from the client stating that I must return the naira the following day. I told my contact to the client that he would receive his funds that God had showed me in a dream. I had this dream after the 5am declaration.
During the day, I just kept praising and thanking God at every watch. At 5pm I saw a messages from my contact, in my head I was like “God what now” only for me to check the message and it was forwarded messages from the client, the beneficiary (his supplier) had received the USD200,000 (To God be the glory). Also, we found the money for the first transaction and I will be refunding the USD to my friend this morning.
Help me praise God, He is too faithful. He saved me all in one day!
