I am truly grateful to God for what he has began to do in my life and what he is using you to do.
At the beginning of this year, I purposed in my heart that I will not accept the level I was being paid.
I was doing the work of an Executive Management level 4 and being paid at Level 5.
So I prayed about this situation, and spoke to my Boss.
I listed my achievements and requested to be upgraded.
Although my Boss approved, the paying entity refused to honor it because in accordance to the civil service rule, I do not have the requisite years of experience regardless of my performance and all my achievements to make such request.
However, I kept saying to my self I will not settle. I will not be a victim of an oppressive and unjust system.
This then became a battle in prayer, the Holy Spirit said I should not be desperate.
That desperation makes mistakes. This promotion was not just about the money but also the level I needed to be placed for my next appointment.
The paying entity refused to pay my Salary from January to date, they came up will all sorts of excuse not to pay me. But I kept praying and refused to settle.
In the last week the Holy Spirit ministered about praying against the spirit of delay. I had a conversation with a Rebirth Sister on this.
SL you then called on Monday and said congratulations to me, I held on to that word.
By evening of yesterday I was already exasperated with the agency. They had sent me a text that they will pay next week same thing they had been saying for over 6 months.
So at last nights prayer, 2 key things I noted down was when you said we should declare that “Delay is nullified in my life in Jesus name”. And when you said there is a sister here who was tired and giving up, the burden is much but hold on don’t give up. It was as though God was talking to me. I was at my tipping point saying God why is my own always so difficult but I will keep trusting you.
Fast forward to this morning, as I was speaking to another Rebirth sister asking why she didn’t join the prayer and how glad I was about the ministration. I heard a text come in. I said let me check.
At 7.43am to be precise I got an alert my Jan-Nov salary on Executive Management M4 level had been paid.
Nothing missing.
On a Saturday morning…
All Glory to God..
Not only that an Executive that I was chasing up for help sent me a message that they will come and see me not the other way.
I want to thank the Lord I’m so grateful that even in the delay I did not lack and I was not short changed.
