I want to thank God who has shown me so much Favour in the past month.

I joined a new company last year November and the journey has had its ups and down but God has been with me every step of the way.

Second week in November I had a meeting with my MD in the office and after the meeting he told me to wait behind that he has noticed that have been unhappy and stressed that I should tell him what is bothering me.

I opened up to him that I had car troubles and all, immediately he told his PA to arrange for me to get a good company car like it should happen with immediate effect and to top it up he compensated me with a bonus of 1million naira.

I was in shock and elated, he also said am on top of his list for the recently concluded appraisal.

I got the alert for the one million a day to my birthday what a way to start the new year.
When the alert came I remembered during one of the 5am declarations SL mentioned we will get unexpected alert.
Then I started thinking to myself I did not even do appraisals because my line manager has left the system as at the time the appraisal was being done but I just kept my cool.

By the end of the month when salary was to be paid I was to get my leave allowance also for the year and when I received it, it wasn’t what it should be. I was confused so I called the HRBP – lo and behold she told me I was promoted and the new leave allowance was for the new grade. I was speechless like what!!!!
To crown it all she said my promotion was backdated to May this year and I will be receiving my salary with the arrears that has accumulated.
When I dropped the call I rolled on the floor for the God that has done great things for me.
Imagine been promoted and paid arrears of 6 months even without doing an appraisal.

I then remembered during the last night of prayers when SL prayed that the delay has been broken. I received the arrears and salary on the Sunday preceding the Friday night of prayers.

I have come to return all the glory to this great God.
My personal song to Him is that 🎶 He is a good good Father.
