At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. Its roots may grow old in the ground and its stump die in the soil, yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant.

• The day came that you thought would never come as a new believer.
• You thought the love in your heart would never leave.
• You woke up and realized that you were failing in your faith.
• You just don’t feel the way you first did when you came to CHRIST
• You haven’t picked up a Bible in weeks.
• You rarely pray, and the prayers feel empty and shallow when you do.
